Q. What type of gutters do you install?

We install seamless aluminum, Galvalume as well as copper gutters and leaders (downspouts). While the most common  gutters are K-style,  they are available in other styles and sizes, and the aluminum gutters and leaders are available in white, brown and a variety of colors. We also install "Half Round" gutters (available in Copper, Aluminum and Galvalume).

Q. What about covered gutters (the kind that leaves don't get in)?

These are referred to as "leaf covers" or "gutter guards". Installing leaf covers with your gutters will provide protection for your gutters. Keeping debris out of your gutters will help prevent clogged gutters and keep the rainwater flowing freely. When a gutter gets clogged, rainwater gets trapped in the gutter system. When this happens, your gutters become a breeding ground for mosquitos. In addition, leaf covers will prevent birds from building nests inside the gutter and clogging it. When your gutters are clogged, water will collect in the gutter but will not drain into the leader (downspout), causing it to spill over, which can create interior leaks, foundation damage and soil erosion as well as providing "standing water" on the ground for mosquito breeding.

Q. Will gutters handle heavy downpours with leaf covers intalled?

Yes. When properly installed, Gutter Control can handle almost any amount of rainfall. They have been tested in conditions up to 6 inches of rain per hour. Our design allows only water to enter your gutters by surface tension and electromagnetic attraction. Water follows the curved surface into your gutters while causing debris to fall over the edge.

Q.Will pine needles, seedlings or other debris find it's way into the guttering?

Debris and leaves are mostly blown into open top gutters, which can cause severe clogging and the need for messy gutter cleaning. In most cases, if small bits of debris do enter your gutter, they will flush through the gutters and out the downspout.

It is important that your guttering be cleaned thoroughly before installation. An annual inspection of your gutters and downspouts is recommended.

Q. Can you install leaf covers on my existing gutters?
